To carry on JP’s passions, The James Patrick Griffith Foundation contributes to non-profit organizations that support educational and outdoor opportunities for children and young adults who are at risk, either financially or because of health issues.
The James Patrick Griffith Foundation has given over $50,000 to the following organizations.
Colorado Fourteeners Initiative
Colorado Fourteeners Initiative was formed in 1994 as a partnership of nonprofit organizations, concerned individuals, and public agencies. Our mission is to preserve and protect the natural integrity of Colorado’s Fourteeners after a 1993 study noted significant environmental impacts due to rapidly expanding recreational use.
JP had watched the sunrise from most of the 14ers in Colorado.
